Experience the thrill of the West’s most spectacular aerial fireworks show — from the comfort of your own reserved RV site just ½ mile from the action at the Lake Havasu Rodeo Grounds.

Each year, the Western Pyrotechnics Association hosts the renowned Winter Blast next door to Sara Park Rodeo Grounds. While Winter Blast itself is a private (members-only) event, our campground offers one of the closest public viewing locations available — without the traffic, crowds, or seating scramble.

From Thursday through Sunday evenings, enjoy breathtaking choreographed fireworks displays synchronized to music played right at the Rodeo Grounds — creating an unforgettable, immersive experience.




Here's what you need to know

 

Pyrotechnics Show:

Thursday, February 8th to Sunday, February 15th, 2027 you can see the fireworks from most RV spots on the Rodeo Grounds or join new friends in the Rodeo Grandstands for a great view.

 

RV PARKING:

Check-in begins at noon on Monday, February 8th, and opens each day thereafter at noon.

All sites are "dry camping"  there are no hookups available.  A pump-out service will be provided during the week for an extra fee. There are water spigots available but please arrive with your water tanks full and your holding tanks empty. 

Check-in closes daily at 5:30. If you arrive after 5:30, you will be asked to park near the gate until the next morning when our volunteers will get you settled into your reserved site. (Sorry, under no circumstances will RVs be parked after 5:30.)

Pets are welcome; however, please review the sound warning below before bringing animals.
• Pets must be leashed at all times
• Owners must clean up after pets
• Not recommended for skittish or noise-sensitive animals

TICKETS & REFUNDS
Your booking receipt and QR code serve as your entry ticket. Please retain it and present upon arrival.

ALL SALES FINAL — NO REFUNDS.
If you cannot attend, you may transfer or sell your ticket to another guest.

ROAD CLOSURES & ACCESS
Roads leading to the Rodeo Grounds may close Friday, Saturday, and Sunday evenings during fireworks operations, and earlier if parking reaches capacity.

Please verify road closure times before leaving the camping area.
Re-entry will NOT be permitted if roads are closed.

FIREWORKS SOUND WARNING
This camping area is approximately ½ mile from the fireworks blast zone.

Large, unannounced explosions may occur throughout the day and until about 9:30 PM nightly as Western Pyrotechnics Association members conduct launches.

This location may not be suitable for:
• Individuals sensitive to loud noise
• Those easily startled or with PTSD
• Noise-sensitive pets

By filling out a sign up form associated with Friends of the Fair and/or by submitting payment for same you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions.
